What insurance plans do you accept?
As a courtesy to our patients, we submit to most insurance companies. We are a participating provider of Delta Premier, so any other insurance company we will be considered “out of network.” However, we welcome patients with any type of coverage. Check with your insurance company to find out if it’s necessary that you see "in network" doctors only.
Do you accept referrals?
We welcome anyone in need of dental work, and are accepting new patients as well as referrals from existing patients. We appreciate and are grateful for all referrals. Please let us know who to thank for your referral so that we may recognize them for the consideration and trust they have in our work and reputation with a voucher good for $50 off dental supplies, including whitening materials.
I don't notice any problems in my mouth and I'm not experiencing pain. Why should I visit the dentist?
It's great that you're not currently experiencing problems. But just because dental problems aren't noticeable right now doesn't mean they're not there. Dr. Roby uses many diagnostic tools, including X-rays and intraoral cameras, to find out if any issues are developing that can't see by yourself. If we see any areas of concern in the early stages, we can treat them with the most conservative methods possible. Waiting to visit the dentist until you feel discomfort will result in a more aggressive treatment, since the problem will by then be more advanced. On the other hand, if we find that your mouth is completely healthy, a regular checkup and professional cleaning will help keep it that way!
What can you do to improve the appearance of my smile?
We'll start by evaluating your oral health, existing smile, and discussing your idea of a great smile. Dr. Roby may suggest porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, or Invisalign clear braces. Call our Longmont, CO office for your personal consultation. Together, we'll determine the best path to your ideal smile.
My gums bleed after I brush. Is this something to be concerned about?
Bleeding is usually a sign of a problem. When gums bleed, the cause usually stems from brushing too hard or from early-stage gum disease, called gingivitis. We can consult with you on the proper toothbrush and pressure for safe, effective daily oral care. If your gums show signs of gum disease, Dr. Roby or our hygienist may recommend a deep hygiene treatment to alleviate your symptoms and return your gums to good health. Gum disease is the leading cause of tooth loss for American adults and has been linked to many overall health conditions, including stroke, heart attack, and respiratory problems. Untreated, gum disease can significantly damage your health, so call for an assessment now. We'll help you keep your teeth and gums healthy for life!
